MARSH MIGRATIONS (Spring Kayak Adventures)
Embrace spring and get outdoors! Marsh migrations are a great way to start the spring paddling season. These easy, flat water kayak floats are led by the CrawDaddy Crew. We will often be joined by Darrin Siefken and renowned wildlife photographer Kip Ladage. Join us on a paddle through Sweet Marsh in rural Tripoli or other wetland wildlife areas to see a variety of migrating waterfowl and other avian species.
Due to wetland reconstruction in Sweets Marsh in 2023-2024 we may need to change the location of the floats from week to week depending on water levels. We will send an email several days prior to the float with specific location information. All floats will be within 30min or so of Waverly.
Tuesday’s 6 to 8 pm: March 19, 26, April 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, May 7
Sunday 4 to 6 pm: May 12
Cost: $25 Rent a kayak; $10 Bring your own kayak
